Interim CEO
Mr. Ragazzo’s career began and grew within Brown-Forman, a top supplier of alcoholic beverages and maker of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey. During his 30+ year tenure at Brown-Forman, his roles included sales, marketing, national accounts management, and international sales development and management. His international experience was highlighted by a 2+ year position in Verona, Italy as a liaison for the purchase and integration of the Bolla Wine Company into the B-F ecosystem. Mr. Ragazzo’s next venture led him to a mid-sized beverage company, LiDestri Food and Drink, where he was vice president of spirits. In his role with LiDestri, he applied his entrepreneurial mindset to curate a spirit’s portfolio, creating multiple new brands and helping build a strategic plan for commercializing those products. Mr. Ragazzo began consulting for Two Trees Beverage Company in July 2022, and transitioned into his current role, interim Chief Executive Officer, in January 2023. As CEO, he has implemented a number of cost-saving and revenue-focused initiatives. Joe has a bachelor’s degree from American University and a Master’s of Business from Lesley University.
Vice President, Product Development / Bulk Sales
Chad Slagle graduated from Appalachian State University. After several years working at health and technology start-ups, Chad began working in the beverage industry in 2014. He is the co-inventor of the accelerated aging technology behind Two Trees Beverage Company’s award-winning whiskies and was the co-founder of Two Trees Distilling Company in 2018. Chad has been the product developer for more than 15 of Two Trees products and currently serves as the Senior VP of Product Development & Innovation and Bulk Spirit Sales at Two Trees Beverage Company. Chad has also appeared on two seasons of the Moonshiners show on Discovery channel, alongside the show patriarch Tim Smith. Mr. Slagle received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Appalachian State University.
Director of Operations
Rebecca Murphy began working with Two Trees Beverage Company in 2021 in Product Development, and currently serves as Director of Operations. Ms. Murphy has a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Eastern Michigan University, a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Western Carolina University, and an Associate in Applied Science in Brewing, Distillation, and Fermentation from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College. She served four years in the US Army as an Engineer Officer, including one combat tour in Iraq.
